Ahmed Selim served multiple tours in the US Marine Corp before joining the private sector where his excellent interpersonal, communications, and dynamic business development skills led to a very successful 25-year career with Northrop Grumman. An expert in change management, and management transition, Ahmed is a motivating leader who excels at building strategic relationships to support key business initiatives.

Upon graduation from UCLA, Ahmed began his career with Litton Industries as a project manager in Woodland Hills, California. In 1999, he took a program management position with Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems where he advanced to manager of business development based out of Woodland Hills. Mr. Selim’s native Arabic language skills led to a 2003 promotion to Director of Business Development for Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems International in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In 2007, Ahmed was named Senior Director of Business Development MENA Region (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Egypt) for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Maryland.  Mr. Selim’s effective leadership and management of high-profile customers helped maintain relationships and increase the company’s return customer base. He established, initiated and optimized business development strategies based on company targets, product specifications, market data, and budget factors.

In 2020, Ahmed was promoted to Senior Global Business Development Director for Mission Systems based out of Northrop Grumman’s headquarters in Virginia.
